Magic: The Gathering Pioneer [04/17/2026]

Join us for Friday Night Pioneer at Video Game Trader! Whether you’re tuning a competitive deck or just looking to get some games in with the local Magic community, this weekly event is a great place to battle in the Pioneer format and earn rewards.

Round One: 6:30 PM
Entry: $10
Format: Pioneer (Best-of-Three)
Structure: 3 Swiss Rounds through Wizards EventLink
Round Length: 45 Minutes
Event Length: About 2.5 Hours

Players may preregister online or sign up in-store. Late entry is allowed.

🏆 Prizing

Players earn League Points which can be redeemed for prizes from our in-store prize cabinet, including booster packs, collector packs, sleeves, playmats, Secret Lairs, Commander decks, and more.

• Participate in 1 Round: 10 League Points
• Participate in 2–3 Rounds: 20 League Points
• Players finishing 3-0: 10 additional League Points

Additional promotional prizing may be awarded based on event results while supplies last.

League Points can be saved for future events or redeemed during events with the organizer present.
