Pioneer Friday Night Magic [07/31/2026]

Bring your Pioneer deck and join us for a weekly night of Magic at Video Game Trader! This event is a great place to test your deck, play competitive matches, earn League Points, and be part of our local Magic community.

Rounds: 3 Swiss Rounds
Round Length: 45 Minutes
Event Length: About 2.5 Hours

Required Gear: One authentic Pioneer-legal deck

Players may preregister online or sign up in-store. Late entry may be allowed depending on event timing, but players who arrive after Round One has started may receive a round loss.

🏆 League Point Prizing

Players earn Video Game Trader League Points that can be saved or redeemed for prizes from our in-store prize cabinet. Prizes may include booster packs, collector packs, sleeves, playmats, Secret Lairs, Commander decks, and more.

• Play 1 Round: 10 League Points
• Play 2–3 Rounds: 20 League Points
• Finish 3-0: 10 bonus League Points

Additional promo prizing may be awarded based on event results while supplies last.

📊 Seasonal Leaderboard

This event counts toward our Video Game Trader seasonal leaderboard. Players earn points throughout the season to climb the standings and compete for a spot in our season-ending Store Championship.

✅ Player Requirements

Players need a valid Wizards of the Coast account to participate. This is the same account used for Magic: The Gathering Arena and the Magic Companion app.

Decks must be Pioneer-legal and contain authentic Magic: The Gathering cards. Proxies and counterfeit cards are not permitted.
